Who We’re Looking For

We’re seeking a talented Software Developer (Junior or Senior) to join our small but mighty team. This role is perfect for someone who wants to build software that directly impacts K-12 schools, moving quickly from idea to feature to delighted customer. You’ll work closely with product, support, and leadership to turn school needs into simple, effective tools

What You'll Do

Build and maintain Circool’s web-based platform used by schools every day.
Develop new features that improve safety, visitor management, events, and reunification.
Collaborate with our product and customer teams to understand school needs and translate them into clean, scalable code.
Debug, test, and optimize performance across browsers and devices.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving team practices.
Balance building fast with building well—shipping high-quality features on tight timelines.

What We’re Looking For

Proficiency in modern web app development (Nuxt, React, Vue, Node.js, or similar).
Experience with databases (SQL, CosmosDB, or similar).
Familiarity with REST APIs and integrations (SIS, SSO, third-party apps).
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Comfortable in a fast-moving startup environment—resourceful, adaptable, and collaborative.
Skilled in working with agile teams, aligning team efforts with strategic business and product goals
(Junior) 1–2 years of development experience or strong personal projects.
(Senior) 4+ years of professional development experience with proven ability to own projects.
